TASTING NOTES: Deep ruby in colour, intense aromas of violets intermingle with hints of coffee and cigar box layered with cranberry and plum. A more refined and elegant style, the palate has intense fruit characters and soft chalky tannins. The structure and length of the wine will allow the wine to develop over the years with careful cellaring.
SUGGESTED FOODS: Pair with rich dishes such as braised lamb shanks, char-grilled flat iron steak with beetroot, mustard and cress or classic eye fillet with pepper sauce.
