Our most fruit forward parcels are selected for this style to produce a delicious easy drinking red that still maintains balance and depth. An enticing blend of Shiraz, for fruit intensity, Merlot, for softness, and Cabernet Sauvignon, for spice and structure has been used. Aged in a blend of French and American oak to develop mouth-feel and complexity as well as stainless steel vats to maintain primary fruit.
TASTING NOTES: These three varieties meld seamlessly to give a wine of exceptional fruit flavour with a soft balance palate. It is characterised by the vibrant aromas plum and red cherries, with hints of thyme and black pepper. Medium bodied and fruit driven with soft tannins.
SUGGESTED FOODS: The perfect accompaniment to tomato based pastas, char-grilled vegetables or lamb, as well as beef carpaccio.
