Harvested, fermented and aged as separate parcels in a mix of stainless steel and oak barrels, before being blended just prior to bottling. The Cabernet is selected for its structure black fruits and herbaceous notes while the Merlot offers substances on the mid-palate with plum, spice and soft tannins.
TASTING NOTES: This wine shows excellent varietal characters of mint, black pepper and a hint of eucalyptus. The palate is soft and rich with blackberry, dark plum and red currant notes. It has fine tannins, subtle nuances of cedar oak and notable acidity. Although ready to drink now, it will also have aging potential.
SUGGESTED FOODS: Delicious with Goomeri rib eye or braised beef cheeks
