This wine is a multi-regional blend. We harvested the Semillon from our vineyards in the South Burnett and cold fermented separately to the Sauvignon Blanc. The Sauvignon Blanc was sourced from premium vineyards in the Nagambie region of Victoria. Judicious blending then took place to ensure a harmonious balance was achieved and both varieties were expressed.
TASTING NOTES: A fresh and aromatic wine with pungent notes of passion fruit over an herbaceous background, and interesting savory notes of celery leaf, ginger and green chilli. The crisp, full palate is refined and yet displays significant fruit characters balanced with lemon citrus characters. It has excellent length and fresh acidity, with a clean finish.
SUGGESTED FOODS: An ideal accompaniment to fresh seafood and summer salads such as a cured salmon, asparagus and pea-shoot salad with lime aioli or a simple pasta with spring vegetables.
